I believe that someone created the word normal because he or she (probably he) wanted us to continually be searching for "normal." Normal, in the dictionary is defined as: conforming with or constituting an accepted standard, model, or pattern; especially corresponding to the median or average of a larger group in type, appearance, achievment, function, development, etc, Does this mean that the definition of normal is actually reliant on the whole--and what if the "whole" is ignorant and stupid? Does that mean that normal is actually stupidity at its average?

So, this begs the question, should we really be striving for normal, and if we are striving for normalcy, what median should we base it off?

Sharing...is it so easy?

Sharing your life in a nutshell is very hard...to share in private is hard and to share outside of private even harder. This week I have had one of the best weeks ever--I want to share that, but it is hard to put into words how I feel. I feel good, which hardly ever happens. I want to share my life but can't exactly put into words why it's going good or why I feel like it is going good. Have I found something in my search that is real...more real than I have already found? Does this belittle the things that I have already found that are more than what I ever dreamed of when I started my life a long time ago? What is my reality now? I believe in God, Christ, and the power of love and friendship. I live to share...my knowledge, my humor, my dedication, my ambition, my excitement, and I live for that in many ways--both professionally as well as personally. Does that mean I'm wierd? I...I think that I'm tired and ready for a long nap. But I will continue to ponder these questions...reality...what is it...why is it so hard to share...and feel good?

My baby turned one...how much fun is that !!
